Stone flower boxes with reclaimed stone

Well, starting this body of work with something different! I don’t get the chance to work with stone often, but while visiting family in the UK for a wedding I got to really get my hands dirty working with some 17th century cemetery markers!

Thanks to my cousin Sam who is a mason (also the Groom, hence my part in creating flower boxes) not what I expected to help out by doing.

A simple project, after being cut to size, and leveled, these were then bound with mortar and steel fasteners.
